Puyang city, located at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, is the leading edge of the docking and integration of Central Economic Zone, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Zone, and Shandong Blue Peninsula Economic Zone.

Northeast Village acrobatics culture park is located in the northeast of Hualong District, Puyang city.

Railway: Puyang Beijing-Kowloon railway, Jinyu-Shandong railway and the planned Zheng-Pu-Ji high-speed railway meet here. 

Highway: Da-guang highway, Pu-he highway, Nanlin highway, Pu-fan highway and other highways throughout the whole area.

Ii. Overview of the park

Located in Hualong District of Puyang city, Northeast Village is one of the birthplaces of Chinese acrobatic art. According to historical records, there were many acrobats in Northeast Village as early as The Three Kingdoms period. In the middle period of the Qing dynasty, acrobatics in northeast village reached its peak. They performed all over the world on behalf of the Qing government, and their superb skills were well received at home and abroad. The empress dowager Cixi praised the dragon lanterns and porcelain POTS. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Northeast Village has continuously provided a large number of talents at home and abroad, among which 37 are the heads of acrobatic troupes in various cities.

In October 2001, it was named as "Hometown of Chinese Acrobatics" by Chinese Acrobats Association.

In June 2008, "Northeast Village Acrobatics" was rated as a national intangible cultural heritage. 

In July 2009, it was named as acrobatic culture characteristic tourism village of Henan province by the provincial government. 

In September 2009, Hualong Pistrict (Puyang ) was designated as Henan provincial cultural reform and development pilot area by the provincial government. 

In December 2013, it was rated as the characteristic cultural base of Henan province by the propaganda department of the provincial party committee.

In July 2014, it was selected into the second batch of "Traditional Villages" in Henan province.

 In 2015 and 2016, it was included in the first batch of class A key construction projects in Henan province for two consecutive years.

In October 2016, it was rated as national AAA scenic spot.

For further protection, inheritance and development of the northeast village acrobatics, in recent years, the park based on the northeast deep acrobatics village culture and the brand, "Chinese acrobatics of the township" under the concern and support of the district party committee and municipal party committee, municipal government and district , adhere to the development of government leading, market operation mode, has built the first monomer acrobatics museum, Northeast Acrobatic Art School, Acrobatics Village Culture Square, Artificial Wetland Cultural Street, Folk Acrobatics Theatre, eight imitation Ming and Qing dynasties acrobatics yard, Tiger Culture Park, water stream water landscape, named lake reservoir engineering and the lake amusement facilities such as special tourism projects.

Park planning: control the boundary to Gaoyang Avenue in the north, Greentown Road in the south, Jingsi Road in the west and Jingba Road in the east. The planned area is about 6.78 square kilometers. At present, the construction area of 267 mu, has invested in the Central Plains Acrobatics Museum, water stream project and other more than 30 projects. The spatial layout is "one belt and six districts". "One belt" is the landscape belt of the Dragon River; "Six districts" are the core area of acrobatics culture, Pudong urban ecological agriculture park, Northeast Village protection area, wildlife park, hot spring leisure resort, and Yue town. The wildlife park under construction has a total investment of 260 million yuan and a planned area of about 1200 mu.

Development goal of the park: to build a high-quality cultural park integrating acrobatic performance, cultural display, cultural creativity, ecological tourism, health care, pension, leisure and other functions at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces.
